A Haunting Experience….
Would you like to spend a night of terror in a romantic castle, investigating its spooky mysteries? St. Briavel's Castle is proud to announce a Night of Ghosthunting, for would be paranormal investigators!
Arriving at the Castle by 8pm you will be treated to a buffet meal and meet your hosts, well known ghost experts (CJ) and (Sunchime), along with renowned folklorist and paranormal expert (Beast Rabban).
A short talk will acquaint you with the techniques and perils of ghost hunting, and after that you will be invited to take part in a ghost walk which will show you first hand the spooky history and ghoulish past of the beautiful castle which stands in the delightful Forest of Dean.
Following the ghost walk you will return for coffee and biscuits, and split in to smaller group where detailed instruction on vigil procedures, the nature of hauntings, and the psychic realm will take place, each hosted by one of our experts. You will get to first hand experiment with Zener Cards, and other tests of your psychic abilities!
After the training completes, the guests will be divided in to vigil groups, and will then be assigned different locations to conduct their own personal investigations of the ancient castle and its supernatural inhabitants, in the style of popular ghosthunting television. Armed with nothing more than your wits, some ghost hunting equipment supplied by us and the skills you have gained, can you face the terror of confronting the ghosts?
Of course, you may see nothing. We can not guarantee the spooks will appear! What we can guarantee is an excellent night with expert advice, at one of the most romantic and atmospheric castles in the UK, all for the special price of £55 per person. after afew hours in a proper bed, wake up to a simple breakfast and discuss the nights events...
WARNING: this experience is not for the easily frightened! No experience of paranormal investigation required, but owing to the frightening nature of real life paranormal investigation this event is not suited to persons of under 16 years of age. Spaces limited to thirty persons.
